Biotulin. Very Expensive, Effectiveness 24 H. And Alternative + Cheap

How are you girls, happy new year everyone.

Today I bring you something a little different, as a general rule I do not usually do this, it is squeaky and curious how magazines like vogue, iodone, etc. enter the rag to promote creams because they use CELEBRITIES.

I just read an article in vogue, about how Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle (very fashionable right now) use a 15ml botox effect cream for € 50….

I have started to look at the INCI and search the internet for the wonderful properties and studies of these ingredients.

INCI Biotulin AnalysisTo say that the cream is not bad, it shows that it is not as commercial as the best-known brands and they have shown interest in something that is better than a high% of anti-wrinkle creams, but we again check how good marketing and a great ignorance of the People who use anti-wrinkle creams but are looking for a solution to their facial problems come together to sweep sales.

I am going to analyze all the ingredients one by one, I leave you here the INCI :  WATER, GLYCERIN , BUTYLENE GLYCOL, ALCOHOL, IMPERATA CILINDRICA ROOT EXTRACT, ACMELLA OLERACEA EXTRACT, XANTAN GUM, CARRAGENAN, BENZACETHIC ACID, EXTRACT PHENO VINE LEAF, SODIUM HYALURONATE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, CARBOMER, CAPRYLIL GLYCOL, CROSSED POLYMERS ACRYLATES / C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE, ETHYL HEXYL GLYCERIN, SODIUM DEHYDROACETIC ACID, BISULPHITE

  • Glycerin: Very good moisturizer for the skin, but very cheap. It is also an ingredient that can have plant or animal origin, PETA has it in the “care”.
  • Butylene Glycol : A solvent to decrease the viscosity of the cream, that is, to make the product more liquid.
  • Alcohol : Preservative, I am not saying anything that is not known, it should not be up there at the INCI.
  • Imperata Cilindrica: Skin conditioning agent, with the advantage of increasing hydration levels during the first 24 hours.
  • Acmella Oleracea : Star ingredient. Reduces muscle tension, reducing facial wrinkles caused by tight or contracted facial muscles. It is considered a natural muscle relaxant and has traditionally been used as a type of Orajel herb, used to numb toothaches thanks to the presence of analgesic alkylamides called spilanthol. This spilanthol is believed to have the same paralyzing effects on the facial muscles as it does on the gums, reducing wrinkles by relaxing the skin. It is seen in topical formulas and can easily penetrate the skin, inhibiting contractions in the subcutaneous muscles. However, Acmella Oleracea does not pack the peptide for the usual collagen construction, this is what differentiates it for example from Cobiolift of the Nezeni cream.
  • Xanthan Gum : It has many uses, but it is important that the molecular weight of the one used is very high, since it is an ingredient that should not be absorbed by the skin because it is harmful. It can function as an aqueous binder, emulsion stabilizer, skin conditioning agent, miscellaneous emulsifying agent, surfactant, or viscosity increasing agent. It wouldn’t have to be up there at INCI.
  • Carrageenan : Carrageenans are large, highly flexible molecules that bend to form helical structures. This gives them the ability to form gels at room temperature. But animal tests seem to incontrovertibly link it to intestinal cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified degraded carrageenan as possibly carcinogenic to humans (degraded carrageenan comes from a specific species of seaweed, Eucheuma spinosum, and is created by partial hydrolysis with dilute hydrochloric acid). This specific form of the ingredient, however, is not typically used in food or cosmetics, THOUGH I WOULD NOT USE IT FOR MY HEALTH, JUST IN CASE. It wouldn’t have to be up there at INCI.
  • Benzoic Acid : Natural preservative . Restricted in cosmetics in Japan for use in cosmetics (based on concentration limit) as there are studies with limited or incomplete evidence of cancer based on safety data The government assessment cannot be classified as a human carcinogen due to gaps in the data. It can come from animals, so keep in mind that it is on the PETA list. It wouldn’t have to be up there at INCI.
  • Phenoxyethanol : It is used as a preservative, stabilizer and bactericide (CAUTION) . Allergens– Skin exposure to phenoxyethanol has been linked to allergic reactions ranging from eczema and hives to anaphylaxis. A 2015 study found that Doppler ultrasound gel primarily causes skin inflammation, but there were rare reports of anaphylaxis or life-threatening reactions. The phenoxyethanol and paraben mixtures found in Doppler ultrasound gel can cause more serious allergic reactions than phenoxyethanol alone.Eczema is also a common allergic reaction to skin exposure to products containing 1% or more of phenoxyethanol. Reactions only occur in the application area and eczema subsides after avoiding the irritating product Acute Nervous System Effects (Infants): In 2008 The FDA warned consumers not to buy Mommy’s Bliss Nipple Cream. The phenoxyethanol, found in the cream, depressed the central nervous system and caused vomiting and diarrhea in infants. Symptoms of a depressed nervous system include a decreased appetite for the baby, difficulty waking the baby, sagging limbs, and changes in skin color. There are no known health risks for the mother.
  • Vine leaf extract : Antioxidant, Astringent and Emollient.
  • Sodium hyaluronate: the famous hyaluronic acid, I wish it was higher 🙁

From here on, the proportions are very low, and we no longer find any plant extract or active ingredient that is worth explaining, but the article becomes boring 🙂

In short, we find a cream that they sell for € 50, which is not an exorbitant price for high-end, but they are ONLY 15 ML… ..very expensive , although we already know what happens with the “celebrities”. The problem I see is that apart from 3 good ingredients and the proportions of some such as HA or the price of others such as glycerin are not worth that amount to pay.

Here you have an article I’m doing about what ingredients are anti-wrinkle.

Better alternative

As you already know, I really like to use anti-wrinkle creams to see what works or not, I have really tried too much and I have not found many that are adjusted in quality price.

My recommendation is that you use this anti-wrinkle cream from Nezeni Cosmetics.

Here is the INCI:

I am not going to analyze it here because it is in the article on the best wrinkle creams.

I hope you liked it and don’t forget to SHARE SO THAT THE BRANDS DO NOT DECEIVE US.
