This innovative blend of snap-8, a powerful peptide, and hibiscus seed extract, works to smooth the appearance of superficial lines and wrinkles to firm, lift, and plump the appearance of skin.
It also provides optimal levels of hydration with ceramides, which increase hydration, and offers a broad spectrum of daily sun and environmental protection.
In addition, it contains an advanced hydrating complex with polyquaternium-51, a biotechnologically derived polymer that has the ability to help fix the hydrating ingredients.
The skin looks radiant and smooth; with a tight and firm appearance and optimal hydration.
It only remains to check in which position all these ingredients are and to know which ones are missing. And since I see that you are interested in firming creams, here is an Analysis of the Best Firming Creams for the Face that you will find on the market.

- Ceramide 6 II: Also called Caproyl sphingosine, a type of ceramide that is part of the lipid layer of the skin, which makes our bodies waterproof to prevent both water loss and infection. It works by filling in the spaces between skin cells to act as a barrier against the outside. Without this natural protection, skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis would appear. What it does is reinforce the protective layer that may have been removed by improper cleaning, excessive exfoliation, or daily wear and tear. This way, the skin can also better retain water, which improves dehydration and sensitivity, one of the most common skin complaints. By maintaining a healthy barrier on the skin and maintaining the pH level, it can alleviate eczema, psoriasis, superficial aging,
- Alpinia Speciosa Leaf Extract : Alpinia Speciosa is part of the Zingiberaceae family (like ginger), and is appreciated for its benefits in rejuvenating dry, dull, tired and hydrated skin. Helps improve skin structure through collagen synthesis, making it an excellent skin emollient that helps retain moisture. Contains Kawain and polyphenols (34 times more than those found in red wine) to help combine collagen, elastin, anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties. The result is healthier, firmer, and younger skin. The extract also has anti-inflammatory properties and acts as a natural preservative. It removes excess oil from the skin, removes impurities that normally cause blemishes and breakouts, and helps prevent acne.
- Hibiscus Abelmoschus Seed Extract: Extract from the seeds of the hibiscus or hibiscus, a plant with an activity with remarkable benefits for the skin. It is rich in anthocyanins, a flavonoid that has high antioxidant properties to support anti-aging by counteracting the effects of free radical damage, and photoaging due to excessive UV exposure. Hibiscus extract blocks the breakdown of proteins in connective tissue, an activity caused by the elastase enzyme that prevents the elastic composition of the skin. It also has a rich content of ascobic acid (Vitamin C) which, in itself, has many beneficial properties for the skin: antioxidant, collagen production, skin brightener, to name a few. It also has complex compounds called Saponins, They act to reduce the surface tension of liquids and produce lather to help cleanse the skin. In addition, it promotes wound healing and has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that prevent infection and fungal growth.

Unfortunately, they are not as effective and are not used in a high enough concentration to have significant results.

Also known as SNAP-8, this peptide is said to improve the appearance of signs of aging formed by repetitive facial expressions, although there is no independent research to support this claim. Even if there was independent research, the concentrations used in company-sponsored trials to support improvement of signs of aging were 3-10%, which is much higher than what is generally present in skin care products. the skin. Like all peptides, it has water retention properties and a theoretical skin restoring ability.

Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream SPF 30 PA ++ Review Summary by Elizabeth Arden
Since the cream has a sun protection factor, the sunscreen ingredients are the ones with the highest concentration.
Then we find a silicone, which suggests that most of the cream will mask the imperfections behind this ingredient, although the effect is very temporary and can bring other undesirable effects.
After emollients, solvents and more silicones, we find cocoa butter and shea butter, two nourishing ingredients that hydrate the skin.
Active ingredients begin to appear at a certain distance, starting with ceramides, which are great moisturizing ingredients and strengthen the skin barrier. Then there are the botanical actives, which are good antioxidants and increase collagen synthesis.
There is also hyaluronic acid, retinol (in the form of retinyl linoleate and retinyl palmitate), vitamin E, and a peptide that works by reducing muscle concentrations; in addition to moisturizing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
With so many ingredients, the formula has a little bit of everything. The bottom half of the list doesn’t really benefit our skin at all. It’s where PEGs, irritating ingredients, parabens, toxic preservatives, and a host of fragrances that cause allergic reactions, sensitize, or irritate start to appear.
It is certainly not a good option.
Alternative
It is better to have few ingredients and that they are good, than to have a large amount and that half are harmful to our skin.
This is the case of Nezeni Cosmetics Anti-age cream, with a third of the ingredients of Elizabeth Arden’s, but to the point. And without parabens, without irritating or toxic ingredients.
