Estee Lauder Perfectionist Cp + R Firmness Anti-Wrinkle Lifting Serum, Analysis And Alternative

We’re going to put Estée Lauder’s most effective wrinkle-fighting serum to the test, as we always do, by analyzing its INCI to see what kind of ingredients it contains.

As benefits, the brand mentions that it visibly reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, firming and smoothing the skin, and that the results begin to be seen in just one week.

After reading this article, I recommend that you read this other one with an  Analysis of the Best Facial and Anti-Aging Serums . Especially the part after the analysis of the serums, in which I explain many of the doubts regarding these cosmetics.

But first we go with the analysis of this Estée Lauder serum.

Summary analysis of Estée Lauder Perfectionist CP + R Anti-Wrinkle Serum Lifting / Firming

Although for its brand and price it may seem like a high-end cosmetic, its first ingredients are silicones, which we know have the ability to visibly fill wrinkles, but it is just that, a momentary effect, not lasting.

And for that alone, I would not buy it; because what I want in a cosmetic is for its ingredients to repair my skin problems, not to mask them for a while.

But it is also that it has several sensitizing and irritating ingredients, and even the well-known Phenoxyethanol that we already know is potentially toxic.

Although among its ingredients we do find several very good active principles, such as collagen, antioxidants, peptides (such as Argireline), hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C; in this formula the cons outweigh the pros.

Alternative

A much more effective formula, with ingredients that are worth it for their long-term anti-aging effects, is the Nezeni Cosmetics serum.

It is the serum that I am using right now, and both for its ingredients and for its price, it is more worth it than the Estée Lauder option.
