That extra moisture plumps up skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and leaves a smooth surface with long-lasting hydration.
- Deoxyadenosine , Deoxycytidine , Deoxyguanosine and Deoxythymidine : They are derived from nucleosides: adenosine, cytidine, guanosine and thymidine. Nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and are involved in cell preservation, replication, expression of hereditary information, cell signaling, and metabolism. Nucleotides are essential components naturally present in DNA, but sadly most of the time in short supply. Nucleotide shortages can result in premature aging, genetic diseases, life-threatening conditions, microgenetic mutations, and chronic fatigue. Therefore, nucleotides are one of the most important anti-aging ingredients.
- Cyanocobalamin : Vitamin B12 is effective in treating psoriasis, but there is very little research to support its benefits for the skin after topical application. That said, many anti-aging creams contain this ingredient, believing that it can strengthen the skin’s capillaries and reduce inflammation.
- Glutathione : Glutathione is an endogenous antioxidant present in all cells of most animal species, as well as in some plants. It has two main properties, strong antioxidant activity and the ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and lighten the skin.
- Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide : NAD, also known as the physiological form of vitamin B3, is involved in DNA repair and is necessary for metabolism in the living cell. As an essential vitamin, when applied topically NAD improves the skin’s surface structure, smooths the appearance of wrinkles, and helps inhibit UV damage.

While high levels of inositol produce healthy hair and aid in hair growth, low levels can lead to hair loss and dry skin, and even eczema. According to the National Cancer Institute, inositol helps cell membranes respond to their environment, including skin and hair cells.
- Methyl Deoxycytidine : Previously discussed in the ingredient Deoxycytidine, to which a methyl group (CH3) has been added.
- Niacin : Vitamin B3 plays an important role in removing toxic and harmful chemicals from the body. Capillary dilation increases, which in turn increases blood flow, known as vasodilation. This improves oxygenation of the dermis, due to increased circulation. New studies have shown that niacin is beneficial for the skin, specifically for problems related to pigmentation and dry skin. It has been shown to be an effective skin lightening agent, and due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is being tested as a possible treatment for acne and rosacea.

It is also believed to be a preventive against dandruff, eczema, and psoriasis. What is known is that a deficiency can lead to skin problems, including contact dermatitis, irritation, eczema, and blistering. In cosmetics and personal care products, it is used as a skin and hair conditioning agent. Pyridoxine HCl is a moderately hazardous ingredient, with concerns regarding cancer, reproductive and developmental toxicity, endocrine disruption, neurotoxicity, and organ system toxicity. Studies have shown reproductive effects when pyridoxine HCl is given at very low doses, and effects on the brain and nervous system at low to moderate doses; the cellular mutation was caused in mammalian cells in vitro.

Because biotin is a necessary component for the growth and formation of cells, fatty acids, and fats, its deficiency often leads to heart problems, skin rash, and hair loss. For this reason, many believe that it has the ability to stimulate hair growth. In reality, no scientific study has yet proven this particular function, and topical application of biotin is most likely ineffective, considering the fact that it cannot penetrate the skin. So far, studies have shown its ability to make hair more flexible and easy to style.
- Calcium Pantothenate : Vitamin B5 is necessary to form coenzyme A, and plays a vital role in the metabolism and synthesis of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Calcium pantothenate is often used as a dietary supplement because, as a salt, it is more effectively absorbed by the body. It’s cosmetics is used primarily as a conditioning agent for hair and skin. It is believed to function as a moisturizer and skin softener, drawing moisture to the upper epidermis. Many also believe that it works as an effective acne treatment.
- Folic Acid : Also known as vitamin B9, it plays a vital role in helping to maintain the natural beauty of the skin. It has concentrations of antioxidants that work to reduce the levels of oxidative stress in the skin, as well as neutralize free radicals that are present in the environment. They can also provide increased hydration by strengthening the skin’s barrier function. This can improve moisture retention and alleviate dry skin.
- Riboflavin : Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, is an important micronutrient for helping the body metabolize fats, carbohydrates, amino acids, and proteins, and is also an integral part of the processes involved with respiration and cell growth. It is used as an ingredient in skin care and cosmetic products due to its ability to benefit the skin, hair, and nails. Riboflavin is believed to accelerate wound and burn healing and is used to treat rosacea-related skin blemishes.
- Tocopheryl Phosphate : Analyzed in ClarinsMen’s anti-wrinkle cream as Tocopherol Acetate.
Filorga Ultralifting Lift Designer Serum Analysis Summary
After analyzing this long list I have been able to draw several conclusions.
The first is that if we only look at the first 5-6 ingredients (those that are in the highest concentration), we only have emollients and lubricants. Nothing that can effectively fight wrinkles in the long term.
But when taking into account the entire list, we see several active principles, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, with a tightening effect, including collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, E and almost all the vitamins of group B.
After complex ingredients that I have seen and wanted to find information about, it can be said that it is a serum that has a bit of everything, and therefore, its active principles are diluted in this mixture.
It has very good and effective active ingredients against wrinkles, but I doubt that they can have the effect that is needed in such a low concentration.
One last note, I have also found a silicone, a PEG, an irritating ingredient, and a couple of ingredients that can be toxic.
Alternative
A simpler, shorter and more effective formula is the Nezeni Cosmetics serum. With only 8 ingredients it manages to blur the wrinkles we hate so much, and at a much lower price than the Filorga option.
In my case it is the serum that I currently use, and I give the reasons why in the article of the best facial and anti-aging serums on the market .
