There are foods that strengthen the immune system. Its consumption can be traditional, such as juices and teas. Many fruits and vegetables have a high antioxidant power and are rich in vitamins and minerals capable of enhancing immunity.

We did a search for certain nutrients and came up with this immunity enhancing tea recipe, and we found it so good that we want to share it with you too. It is not very easy to do, but it is worth the effort. In fact, we don’t even know whether to call this tea, because it is a true elixir!

All ingredients are optional. The more you can add the better. But be sure to do so, as the ingredients are fully functional and useful even in much simpler teas.

Ingredients

  • 5 anise stars
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 1 tablespoon (dessert) fennel
  • 1 tablespoon (coffee) turmeric
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 clove
  • 1 handful of Goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon (coffee) matcha
  • 1 teaspoon (tea) of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • ½ lemon

About the ingredients

Star anise : It is composed mainly of anethole, phelandrene, safrole, terpineol and 1,4 cineole. This plant is rich in shikimic acid, a powerful antiviral. Helps with gastrointestinal disorders, gas, coughs, colds. Star anise is digestive and improves the body’s immunity.

Preparation of tea

Boil 500 ml of water. In a saucepan place the anise, ginger, mint, fennel, turmeric, pepper, cloves and goji berries. Add the boiling water and let it steep for 5 minutes.

In the cup in which you are going to drink the tea, add the matcha, coconut oil and honey. Add the tea to the cup and mix well. Finally, add a few drops of lemon. This amount is for two people ; adjust the amount accordingly. One cup a day. To have a beneficial effect, try to take it at least 3 times a week.

The taste is spicy and a little sweet . If you’ve gotten used to “traditional” tea on its own, your taste buds may have to adjust a bit. Try it and your health will thank you !
