Lab Series Oil Control Solution Analysis Summary
This product is a solution only if you are looking to strip your skin of its natural oils, and cause dryness and irritation unnecessarily.
This is because alcohol is the main ingredient on the list, Propanediol is another known irritant, sodium hydroxide also causes irritation, and the only two active ingredients present are a scrub and witch hazel extract, an astringent.
The problem is that alcohol and witch hazel are problematic ingredients for all skin types, and they do not control oil, they only remove oil from the surface, thus stripping the skin of its necessary fats.
This is counterproductive, since in addition to attacking the skin, it causes more oil to be secreted, contributing to acne.
Unfortunately, there is no moisturizer that minimally softens the damaging effects of these ingredients, so you will need to deeply hydrate your skin with other products.
