The formula is quite concise, and it only has Retinol (0.3%), vitamin E and jojoba oil, so its effect will not be as beneficial and powerful as it should be.
Retinol is encapsulated, so its release is gradual, which greatly reduces the irritation and flaking it can cause. Plus, it includes an anti-irritant ingredient.
There are 3 emollients, so the formula will not dry out the skin, and the addition of two silicones will leave an immediate smooth feeling, although it is not an ingredient that I am too excited to see in a serum.
It does not have any irritating or toxic ingredients, which is fine, but it is a formula that falls short, since the interesting thing about cosmetics with retinoids is that they include other beneficial assets, such as antioxidants, anti-inflammatories or peptides.
It’s not a bad formula, but there are better options.
