Skinfood Royal Honey Essential Toner review summary
It is a tonic with alcohol among the first ingredients, so dry and sensitive skin should refrain from using it, if they do not want their skin to dry out even more.
Besides alcohol, there are 3 other possible irritants on the list, something I don’t like, considering how low the INCI is.
It is one of the tonics with the most ingredients on the list, however, it does not have a large number of assets. It is mainly based on antioxidants (such as honey), moisturizers (such as hyaluronic acid), and emollients and occlusives (honey also acts by strengthening the skin’s barrier).
Very few of these actives are present in high concentrations, which is a shame.
On the other hand, it has a good amount of preservatives, stabilizers and surfactants, which do not contribute anything to the skin.
Alternative
Nezeni Cosmetics Micellar Water is very different, as it also tones, cleanses and removes make-up from the skin with highly recommended active ingredients.
