Summary review Rose de Fresh moisturizing eye contour
According to the brand, hyaluronic acid is the main source of hydration of the cream, but as we see in the list, this active is found in the lower part of the composition.
This means that it is in a low concentration, and its effect in the cream is not very intense. Actually, those that provide the humidity of Fresh’s product are silicones, glycerin and squalene, which are in the first place, and therefore, in high concentrations.
In addition to hydration, there are rose water, rose extract and Damascus rose oil, which are what give the product its name.
This combination of roses provides an anti-inflammatory, calming and antioxidant effect, very beneficial for the skin of the eyes.
An interesting ingredient is the extract of the algae Chlorella Vulgaris, a protector that defends the skin from harmful UV rays. It is not a sunscreen, but it looks like it.
It also has cucumber extract that helps cool and soothe the skin. And extract of the legume Voandzeia Subterranea, an active that thickens and rejuvenates the skin.
There is little more to explain from the list, apart from a couple of antioxidant agents that do not have a higher proportion.
From what we can see, this eye contour is quite moisturizing, and it also protects and helps calm inflammation, but it does not have any ingredient that can help us reduce crow’s feet, dark circles or bags.
In addition, it must be taken into account that it has a few preservatives, the occasional irritant, colorants and fragrances. They are in a low proportion, but it all adds up if there is a combined effect.
According to Fresh, the product is a “refreshing eye treatment that delivers a burst of deep hydration while instantly brightening and refreshing tired-looking eyes.”
And it is true that you experience a pleasant refreshing sensation on the contour after application. Even if you don’t chill it in the fridge on purpose.
The gel definitely helps hydrate the eye area. Although we are not sure that this hydration lasts 30 hours as directed.
It has a very gelatinous moisturizing consistency, which helps to give extra freshness and moisture to dry skin; although we will say that it is not enough if you have very dry skin.
The area under the eyes absorbs the product well, leaving it perfectly prepared for the application of the concealer.
Apply to the eye contour daily, morning and evening, after cleansing and before hydration. It can also be used to refresh and rehydrate the eyes throughout the day.
This product has a very pleasant smell, reminiscent of roses, although not very realistic.
Something that does not convince us is its packaging, a jar that does nothing more than contaminate the most powerful assets, rendering them useless over time.
Alternative
It is clear that it is an option that falls short of beneficial assets, and even more so if the signs of aging are already beginning to be noticed.
To solve these problems more efficiently, we recommend using the Nezeni Cosmetics contour, with concentrated active ingredients to prevent or reduce crow’s feet, puffiness and dark circles.
And what is better, it does not include any irritants, colorants or fragrances, and its amount of preservatives is negligible, which in the long term will be beneficial for your skin and your health.
