If there is a main responsible for the lack of firmness and wrinkles of the face, it is the breakdown or loss of collagen and elastin from the skin. For this reason, the U Visage cream includes these two essential ingredients in its anti-wrinkle cream, to be able to reverse the signs that the passage of time leaves on the skin.
Thanks to soluble collagen and hydrolyzed elastin, this cream achieves a more elastic and smooth skin, more hydrated and nourished, and therefore, with fewer wrinkles. What you need from an anti-aging cream!
But in addition to these two active ingredients, the cream also has other beneficial ingredients for the skin, such as chia seed oil and sacha inchi seed oil, two great antioxidants and emollients that protect the skin from sun damage and of its damaging effects.
But before venturing to judge this cream, we are going to analyze all its ingredients, so we can see in what concentration the active ingredients are, and all the other compounds that the cream includes.

Summary analysis of cream with collagen for face and neck of U Visage
The ingredient that stands out the most on the list (due to its high concentration) is cocoglycerides, which are the mono, di and triglycerides derived from coconut oil. We all know that coconut oil is an excellent emollient for dry skin; however, this ingredient can be one of the worst substances to apply on combination, oily, or acne-prone skin.
While in dry or extremely dry skin coconut oil is a fantastic moisturizer and emollient, in other skins it is better to avoid it due to its power to promote the appearance of acne breakouts. So I do not recommend this anti-aging cream for skin that is not dry or very dry.
One of the active ingredients that is in a large proportion is Squalane, which is a great antioxidant, although it does not specify the source from which it comes.
Next is the star of the cream, soluble collagen. It must be borne in mind that collagen does not bind to the collagen of our skin as soon as we apply a cream with collagen. It is a much more complicated process, since the collagen molecule is very large, and it cannot penetrate well into the dermis, the point where it is needed. So although this active is in a large proportion, the amount that our skin can take advantage of will be much less.
Something similar happens with elastin, another of the active ingredients that the cream includes, so the two main pillars of the U Visage cream are very unstable.
Botanical actives such as sacha inchi seed oil, chia seed oil, horse chestnut, witch hazel or mallow extract provide effective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory protection, but they also cannot eliminate or minimize wrinkles.
In addition, the cream includes other ingredients that I think it is advisable to avoid, such as alcohol, perfume, irritating fragrances, toxic preservatives, and even an aluminum-based ingredient, a known neurotoxin. On second thought, it is best to avoid this product completely.
Alternative
One of my favorites is Nezeni Cosmetics Collagen cream, which uses a high concentration of hydrolyzed collagen, hydrates and nourishes the skin, and also fills in wrinkles.
These active ingredients reduce the signs of aging more effectively than collagen. And above all, I like it for what it does not include, no alcohol, no harmful ingredients, no irritating fragrances, or anything that could harm your skin.
