This intensively acting rejuvenating concentrate uses genomic technology to protect cellular DNA and reverse the signs of aging such as wrinkles, blemishes and sagging.
To do this, it uses the power of chrysanthemum and red rice, together with different peptides that make up the DNA Reverse Complex.
This combination favors the synthesis of collagen and elastin, making the skin more flexible and smooth. The facial oval is redrawn returning to its previous state, more defined and without flaccidity.
It is this product that can go a long way in restoring hydration and stimulating skin’s radiance. From the first drop your skin feels fully hydrated, and as long as you get a few hours sleep, it can work its magic overnight to leave skin feeling soft and smooth in the morning.
It is clear that it leaves a more rejuvenated skin. But is this really so? We are going to check it by analyzing its ingredients. We have also done this with other anti-aging serums, and we tell you our conclusions in the following article .

- Ozonized Oryza sativa (Rice) Callus Culture Extract : Produced using a proprietary process that uses ozone to obtain the meristem culture obtained from Himalayan red rice. Recent studies have shown that the red rice variety (compared to black and white rice) contains the highest free radical scavenging activity against DPPH radicals, which can be attributed to the presence of polyphenols and proanthocyanidins. This suggests that red rice may be able to firm the skin and influence the skin’s barrier function.

- Polyisobutene : Tested in Clarins Men’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Men .
- Hydrolyzed Soy Flour : Analyzed in Skeen + Anti-Aging Correcting Concentrate .
- Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6 : Analyzed in Filorga’s Ultralifting Lift Designer Serum .
- Crocus Chrysanthus Bulb Extract : The saffron bulb (Crocus chrysanthus) is capable of reversing the aging process by stimulating communication between skin cells. It induces the secretion of growth factors in keratinocytes that improve the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the dermis. Therefore, thanks to its growth factor activity, it is able to rejuvenate the skin matrix. Its benefits: increases the production of collagen and elastin,
stimulates the skin’s natural growth factors,
renews the elasticity and firmness of the skin, reverses aging processes, rejuvenates the skin’s texture and visibly reduces stretch marks. - Caffeine : Tested in Clarins Men’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Men .

- Sodium Hydroxide : Analyzed in Fiori di Cipria’s anti-wrinkle cream for men .
- Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2 : Trifluoroacetyl-2 tripeptide is a synthetic tripeptide, designed as an inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase and elastase. It can decrease progerin synthesis, increase proteoglycan production, and contract collagens. In other words, it regulates the biological mechanisms involved in the aging process, reduces the signs of aging, including sagging and wrinkles, and improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin.
- Hexapeptide-9 : An anti-aging peptide that can visibly reduce the length and depth of wrinkles, at least according to its manufacturer. In vitro studies (which means it was done in the lab, not in real people) show that it improves epidermal regeneration, the synthesis of type I and III collagen, as well as the synthesis of other important skin proteins.

Summary analysis Upgrade Chrono Lift Intensive Rejuvenating Serum by Sensilis
If we had to describe in one word the ingredient list for Sensilis serum would be “Silicones”. And we find these compounds throughout the list, especially in the top positions, which are the ones with the highest concentration.
That is why it is not surprising that both its texture and the sensation it leaves on the skin are so pleasant. But although silicones are not harmful to the skin -in most cases-, they can occlude the pores and leave it saturated. It is certainly not an ideal ingredient for our skin.
And while the filler ingredients are at the top of INCI, the true assets are relegated to the bottom.
From the whole list we can highlight the extract of chrysanthemum or saffron, with many interesting properties, such as the power it has to increase collagen synthesis, promote elasticity and firmness or rejuvenate the texture of mature skin.
For its part, red rice is a good firming and improves the barrier function of the skin, which also improves the health of the skin.
And it also has a pair of peptides, which are what make up the DNA Reverse complex. These are always a good addition to anti-aging cosmetics, as they not only increase collagen synthesis, they also reduce the depth and visibility of wrinkles, and increase elasticity.
However, they are in a low proportion.
We don’t like that it has perfume, coloring, and a couple of irritating ingredients.
Sensilis is not a cream that I would recommend for skins that are still somewhat oily, since silicones are not going to benefit them at all, and it does not have elements to balance oil or mattify shine. But it can be valid for dry skin.
Actually, the greatest filling or anti-wrinkle effect is due to the silicones, which form a film that fills the furrows of the skin.
Alternative
Although it can have good results for dry skin due to its large amount of emollients and silicones, it is not an anti-wrinkle in itself, because more than repair, it camouflages lines and furrows.
If you prefer something that has longer-term effects, we recommend the option of Nezeni Cosmetics, a cream with more anti-aging actives such as Cobiolift, Vitamin C or hyaluronic acid.
